#TinySpringPoem with Beth Kempton | Day 10
Much like the broadway song, That sang the measure for a year, I choose to quantify my days, Through qualitative means. Not by seconds or minutes, But by the rays of the sun, That filter through my windows, Even on an overcast morning. Not by how many times I fail, But by counting the people, Who helped me through it all, And caught me whenever I fall. Not by the endless problems, But by the solutions available, By the exciting explorations, And the challenges enabled. Not by the ticking of the clock, Not by the dates on the calendar, But by the kisses from my dog, As he sleeps peacefully on my lap.

Imagine if more of us had this embodied way of experiencing time, what would become possible for us as a species?
Awe, I loved the ending of this poem Jen. Say hello to Datu for us ☺️
