Your day was dull and filled with sadness, Hope was crushed into a million pieces, Seeking for stars in the darkened skies, Yet even those failed to show up tonight. On your walks spent in reflection, Marveling about the vast expanse around, These lands that extend so far beyond, Heavenly dome above too far to climb. You've passed these roads many years ago, Great Plains witnessed your youthful dreams, These winds so strong with houses to lift, Clicked your red heels, you're back here again. Despite the evident melancholy vibe, You cannot help but emit the vibrant light, Although the past is no longer in sight, Choose to radiate a celebration of life.
#TinySpringPoem with Beth Kempton | Day 9

Reflections:
Walking the memory lane under the Kansan winds while sensing the controlled prairie burns from miles away, I entered a trance and was reminded of how adventurous I was once to venture out these strange lands to chase my dreams while leaving home behind. What dreams did you chase? Where did your dreams take you?
