#TinySpringPoem with Beth Kempton | Day 15
The list of names are longer, Candles lit have multiplied, Stories we have in common, Details lost, already forgotten. People I have left behind, Smiling, waving goodbye, No longer there to welcome, Absent, now out of sight. Graveyards I need to visit, Lonelier yet full, crowded, Hidden tales of yesteryears, Buried beneath the ground. The old guards have gone, Passed onto us their batons, We are now the keepers, To the young as storytellers. For every "once upon a time", I pause, shed a tear or two, Clinging tightly onto memories, Slipping slowly from me too. Looking at my own face, Emerging fresh new lines, Visible, undeniable marking Of the cruel passage of time.
Reflections on death and family members we lose through the years.

So beautiful, Jen. 🌹🌹I've just woken up and have my aunt in my head who was in my dream last night. Since she passed away three months ago, she has appeared in my dreams quite a few times. I wonder what she's trying to tell me. 🤔
