An object narrative from the future
Thank you so much Jo!!! 🥰 I will hope for more inspiration to see this story through.
Very intriguing, great read Jen!
Thank you for reading!!!!
This is good, I want to read more!!
Thank you Lisa! Perhaps I can make it a short series 😂
Love this! Could become an intriguing short story or novel. You've captured me as a reader already. 👏👏👏
Hi Julie! Thanks for saying that. It was a work prompt for innovation but when I started doing it I realized it could might as well be a story!
Ideas can come from anywhere...even work 😉
Hahahaha like always!!!
Very interesting read Jen!!! Will this be the start of an series🥹
Let’s cross our fingers for continued inspiration!
It will Jen✨✨💕
Whew, I love where this prompt took you. I've been a bit fascinated with iterations of Atlas since reading Jeanette Winterson's retelling of the Atlas story in a short novel titled "Weight." I should reread that.
I did not even know that story you just mentioned. I will have to look it up!
I don’t think it was widely published. It was part of a series of modern authors writing new stories for Greek (I think?) mythological figures.
How awesome though! It sounds like the Gregory Maguire books of rethinking fairy tales.
Yes! Less whimsical but in my memory they are so beautiful. I’ll have to revisit them—it’s been a few years!
thanks @Karen Louise Hodgson !
How creative!
thank you Sharon!
